Photos- September through Christmas

Here are the promised remaining photos, and it didn't even take the couple of months I said it would. I resized the photos to make them upload faster and they are of poor quality now. Oh well... Sorry!

The photos are in reverse chronological order (except for the last two which are out of sequence) from just after Christmas back to late September. That means they are from Emma at 10 months back to almost 7 months.

The view while hiking just a few miles from our house.

Emma with new baby doll, 'Lil Emma. 10 mos. old.

On another adventure in the laundry basket, she managed to flip it over on top of herself and was incensed to find she was caged. :)

Wow!!! Thank you, Nana Anne!

More cool gifts, this one from Nana Kristi! She played peekaboo with it immediately.

And more great gifts from yet another grandma, these handmade by GG!

Thank you, Dorothy, for knitting this absolutely adorable sweater. We love it!

Learning to take steps. 9 mos. old. Now this girl practically runs and loves to climb everything, especially stairs. She'll climb up the steps to the neighbor's house and go knock on the door. :)

Visiting my good friend from Hope College, Vanessa, and son, Bennett, while in Michigan in early December.

Proof of Dan riding horses. He's in the background.

"Really, Daddy. I'll be fine! Just let me down!"

The view from my grandparent's back porch in Michigan.

Dan having tons of fun sledding.

Emma with Great-Great Aunt Martha.

Emma pretty in a new dress made by Lori Carr at her Great-Grandpa Morton's retirement party. We braved Emma's first snowstorm to get there.

Some of Mama's cousins.

Emma and handsome Daddy.

Emma meets a horse.

Emma's first touch of snow.

She loves this puzzle still! Thanks, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Morton!

The Morton Family Patriarch. I come by my love of ice cream honestly!

Morton Family grab bag game in process.

Emma loves Cindy Lou, her new doll from Great Aunt Ruth and Great Uncle Bill.

Emma in a dress from Great Grammy and Grampy Arbogast. She wears her dresses from them all the time.

Packaging is so much fun.

Helping with laundry.

8 mos. old.

Another dress from Great Grammy and Grampy Arbogast.

At friend Eisley's 1st birthday party, a previously featured baby on this blog. Eisley is behind Emma. This was Nov. 19.

Emma in dress from Sarah Cowherd.

Emma puzzling over the funny pumpkin while in Denver visiting Aunt Amy's family, along with Nana Anne and Aunt Christy in late October. 8 mos. old.

With Nana Anne and Aunt Christy.

With Cousin Matthew at the pumpkin patch petting zoo.

Emma will sit in her high chair and watch Daddy ride his bike for ages (he puts it on a trainer on the back porch to ride stationary).

Emma in hat made by Nana Kristi. 7 mos. old.

Emma with puppy from Laverna.

Emma in the carrier that is our new go-to, the Beco.

A photo of Emma's early cruising days in early October.

She was very excited to pull herself up to reach the books on the shelf. She was 7 mos. old here.

Lunging for the camera.

Birthday boy, Nathaniel. This was the first birthday party Emma attended.

Emma tackling friend, Andee Joy. Mama was with Andee Joy and her mom, Jaimee, when she went into labor with Emma.

Hugs initiated by Andee Joy. This was at 7 mos., but just last week we were playing with Andee Joy again and Emma this time initiated the hugs. That was the first time she'd done that, and she was so enthusiastic that AJ wanted some space after awhile and pushed her away. The rejection made Emma cry. :)

Dressed up in Team Daddy costume with friends.
