Here are a bunch of new photos, not necessarily in order. We've had two more rounds of visitors and Emma has discovered toys, and in particular, a giraffe named Sophie. Above and below, Emma is tired out from all the excitement of visitors!
We celebrated my Grandma and Grandpa's 55th Anniversary on April 24th. We also celebrated Grandma's brother, John, and his wife, Pat's, 55th which will be in September. Congrats to both couples on setting a beautiful example of a lifetime of happy marriage.

Mama with Emma in the Moby wrap. Cousin Randy took this photo. Read more about him below. Thanks, Amy, for the Moby!
The happy family and some super shine on Mama's forehead. Thanks, Mindy, for loaning me the shirt above. I wear it often!
Cousin Randy putting silicone on the bottom of his tent so his sleeping bag doesn't slip when they sleep on an incline. Yikes!
Cousin Randy and his friend, Jason, visited as they prepared to head out for 5 months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It was cool to see all their gear and hear about the details of pulling off a long hike.
Emma discovers a new friend, Sophie the Giraffe. Sophie is like baby catnip. Emma will stare at her for ages, giggle and smile. Sophie squeaks, smells great and is great to chew on, which Emma hasn't mastered yet. And best of all, Sophie is made of natural rubber and food safe dyes, so Emma can safely gnaw. Lots of people said their babies loved Sophie, and now we see that she really is baby magic. Get one for your baby today! :)
Emma stares at Sophie. Thanks, Jaimee, for the loan of the onesie above and many others! And the swing below!
Emma smiles at Daddy. He's so much fun. She really likes it when he holds her up like an aeroplane. Even if she's unhappy, it'll make her smile.
Emma and Daddy play with Sophie. Thank you Regina for commissioning her mom to make the beautiful quilt in the background.
Sweet little baby chilling out in the Boppy. Thank you, Rebecca, for the Boppy cover and Nana Anne for the Boppy.
Emma in her cute new diaper cover. She has one in pink and green as well. Thirsties covers are our favorite.
Great Grandma Susan holds Emma while Mama eats at Olive Garden. Emma pulled off some discreet nursing at the table.
Great Grandpa Chuck with Grandma's cousin, Lee Dorsey. She's 80 years old, but you'd never know it. Quite the firecracker.
